"Village of Tellaro" - Original 5x7" matted to 8x10"
The quiet “Village of Tellaro,” with its terra cotta rooftops and quintessential Italian, seaside facades, takes in the beauty facing west as the sun sets over the Gulf of Poets, over the distant Cinque Terre on the horizon.
Watercolor and ink “5x7” on 140lb paper, “Village of Tellaro” is matted to 8×10.”
Created as a part of the “Summer Amadore” Collection.
My intentions with creating this collection of work was to visually capture the dual feelings of travel and home, feelings of playfulness and spontaneous adventure abroad and also that peacefulness and contentment felt in the return of familiar home. Amadore means ‘gift of love.’ This collection depicts the love of our home, Maine, and the love of travel, once again.
Most of all, thank you. I have so much gratitude for you being here, part of this community, supporting my work. Thank you.
