Original Paintings
“Rooted by the Sea”
This collection is a celebration of the gratitude I have for the beauty found standing on these pine-lined shores, breathing in that sea salty air and smelling the earthy tones grounding beneath you.
While I was finishing painting this newest collection of originals these past few weeks, I was reminded once again why I show up in my little corner of the world doing what I do. We, as humans, need healing. Close to home, right here. Far away, over seas. Neighbors. Loved ones. Ourselves. We collectively need healing.
My husband and I regularly take our little family to the pine lined shores to breathe and reset and find comfort and healing. Maine offers so much of that. To which I’m so grateful. That is what I try to capture in my paintings: the gratitude I have for the peace so generously offered by the Maine landscape.
Each year, I create a limited number of original paintings. You are investing in not only a high-quality, hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind fine art piece, you are also bringing into your home the freedom of the sweeping skies, the fresh air and peace that the scene breathes and the healing benefits of the Maine landscape.

“Coastal Reflections”
22×55” Original, acrylic on canvas
Framed in raw maple, wired and ready to hang
Strawberry Creek, Harpswell Sound, Harpswell, Maine
Part of the ‘Finding the Light’ Collection:
As the temperatures and daylight dwindle and leaves fall, finding the light becomes almost that of survival. Seeking light, finding the light, here in Maine, offers warmth - though very much subtle this time of year - and that warmth from the reflecting light is healing. From the working waterfront to the expansive pine lined shores, Maine’s coast offers us a place to breathe, reset and find subtle light and warmth. That is what I try to capture in my paintings: the gratitude I have for the light and lightness - the peace- so generously offered by the Maine landscape.
