May 2022 — Participated in showing coastal landscape original paintings to promote “Protecting our Waterfront: Nourishment, Adventure & Peace.”
As a native of Maine and raising daughters here locally, I regularly seek the nourishment, the adventure and the powerful therapeutic peace I find along the rustic and rocky coast of Maine for myself, my husband and our two daughters. We must work together to take measures to protect the local environment and ecosystems while reducing our carbon footprint.
Whether living, working or farming, it is ever more important to choose sustainability over pleasure and profit. Sustainable action not only offers environmental protection to our land and sea and the ecosystems within, but also offers preservation to the places in which we seek “Nourishment,” “Adventure,” and “Peace” for generations to come.
